Michael Writes Comedy

About Me

Hello and welcome! I guess since this is my website, my little pocket inside a gigantic hive of chaos, I’m your official tour guide. What will I be showing you during your time here? What a great question! Ya know, this is why we found each other. I appreciate great questions and you, my friend, ask great questions. My name is Michael, and I am a comedy writer and tv producer. From producing hit reality tv to writing jokes for celebrities to acting alongside Don Cheadle to opening on the road for headliners, I’ve done a lot of things in the entertainment industry. I even lost to an actual rock and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson during the People’s Choice Awards. It’s a long story. But hey, that’s why we’re both here. I get to travel the world filming tv shows, doing what I love, and now I’d like to have a place where I can write about those adventures and observations. Think of this as your go-to spot for refreshing comedy that interprets the mayhem life always seems to offer.

How long will this tour be? Well, look at you with another fantastic question! This tour is as long as you want it to be. In other words, I’m going to post essays, short stories, and other comedy pieces a couple times a month for you to enjoy. I’m not going to try to sell you anything or get political here, I’m just going to write about funny stuff, like the time Kevin Hart helped me get back at Joey Fatone or the time a tribe in Fiji gave me kava and I hallucinated for what seemed like years or the time J-Lo saved my life. Ya know, that kind of stuff. So, sing up to receive alerts whenever I post something new and don’t worry, I’m not going to flood your inbox with a bunch of nonsense. Think of me as a digital Mr. Rogers, but with half the unannounced visits and half the cardigans and khakis.

Finally, in-between postings you can stop by my Video Section to check out commercials I’ve done, and short films I’ve written and starred in. Also, if you’d ever like to drop me a line and say hey, feel free to do so!

Well, anyway, great seeing you. Tell the family I said hello and enjoy my blog!

Kindest Regards,

Michael
